TEACHING
I began my journey in dance teaching in 2003 in Berlin, where I taught at dance centers and studios for professional dancers. Over the years, I developed my own teaching method and have taught in various institutions in Israel and around the world — to both professional dancers and people without prior dance experience. Today, I teach contemporary dance technique based on the Release Technique, alongside classical ballet, improvisation and composition, repertoire, research methods, and Feldenkrais classes. In my technique classes, I emphasize developing body awareness and the ability to work from release rather than unnecessary effort, while fostering a deep understanding of the principles of Release and integrating them into personal movement. I encourage participants to strengthen their capacity to learn and internalize material, develop flow and continuity, and cultivate mental and physical flexibility to adapt quickly to new material. Classes invite personal exploration and bodily expression through the language of Release, nurturing the ability for individual interpretation grounded in internal experience rather than just technical execution. The work also deepens the connection between personal experience and performativity — helping each participant move through exercises fully and authentically while exploring stage presence. In this way, technique expands beyond skill refinement to become a tool for artistic expression, a means to convey ideas and emotions through movement. Over the years, I have developed a method that places special emphasis on the inner world and the possibility of giving it freer, more open expression. The method aims to transform internal experience into a living language that can be communicated outward, with creativity and release. More about the method can be read here.
